Childhood Obesity leads to the reduced cortical thickness and executive functioning of the body. Generally, obesity is measured by BMI (Body Mass Index). Researchers have found that the higher the BMI, the lower the proper functioning prefrontal cortex. This finally leads to risked executive function.
